The New Movement has nurtured comedy in New Orleans since it set up shop here and on Tuesday, it will debut a new monthly show at One Eyed Jacks titled “Comedymania.” Comedymania will match the circus and free-for-all structures of professional wrestling with the comedy of comedy. Chris Trew and Darrell Rollo will host Comedymania I, which will feature in the main event Dane Faucheux, who won the first annual Hell Yes Fest Next competition in 2015. 

Comedian Leon Blanda will participate in a hardcore match as he improvises a stand-up comedy, and 10 comedians will participate in a comedy Battle Royal. The show will also feature a cage match, a tag team match, and an “open invitational” Hulk Hogan shirt-ripping competition. 

Professional wrestler Brodus Clay will serve as special guest referee.
