Monday: Dee-1, 9 p.m. The Republic: With seven mixtapes in his catalogue, including 2012's revered The Focus Tape, and years of touring including one last year with Macklemore, local rapper, Dee-1, has finally announced a record deal with RCA Inspiration (tickets).
Wednesday: Rebirth Brass Band, Andrew Duhon, 10 p.m., The Howlin’ Wolf: Rebirth and Andrew Duhon wrap up the holiday with a Christmas Throwdown, mixing brass band jams and bluesy folk rock (tickets); Also on Wednesday: Naughty or Nice Christmas with DJ Poppa and DJ Jubilee, 11 p.m., House of Blues (tickets)
Thursday: Gaunga Dyns, 8:30 p.m., Chickie Wah Wah: Teen stars of New Orleans' '60s, garage-rock scene, Gaunga Dyns reunite to play their classic, psych-rock hits along with some new tracks.
