Saturday: Trombone Shorty and Orleans Ave., Original Pinettes Brass Band, 9 p.m., House of Blues: For the third year in a row, Trombone Shorty has routed his touring so that it brings him home for a gig before Christmas. Monday: Dee-1, 9 p.m. The Republic: With seven mixtapes in his catalogue, including 2012's revered The Focus Tape, and years of touring including one last year with Macklemore, local rapper, Dee-1, has finally announced a record deal with RCA Inspiration (tickets).
