Preservation Hall spent most of 2011 celebrating its 50th anniversary, culminating with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band's performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City with guests including Del McCoury Band, Allen Toussaint, GIVERS, Steve Earle, Tao Seeger, King Britt, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Merrill Garbus of tUnE-yArDs. An album from that show, St. Peter and 57th will be out September 25, but here's a preview for free download: "St. James Infirmary" with My Morning Jacket's Jim James and Trombone Shorty.
