Shoot the Hall

You could be the Preservation Hall Jazz Band's new videographer.

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will release a new album, That's It, on June 9. My Morning Jacket's Jim James produced the album with the Hall's creative director Ben Jaffe, it features new songs by Jaffe and band members Charlie Gabriel, Rickie Monie and Clint Maedgen. The band has made the title cut available for download for prospective video makers, and at Genero.tv, they invite them to make their own video to accompany the song: "There are no limits or boundaries - listen to this great instrumental and let your creative vision loose!" The winning video will be screened at shows, posted on the band's website, publicized through its social media, and earn the makers $5,000.
