Nas, Sleigh Bells, Chance the Rapper Join Buku
The March festival on the Mississippi rounds out its lineup.
Sleigh Bells, Chance the Rapper, and Dan Deacon will join The Flaming Lips, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding and almost 50 more acts when they play the Buku Music and Art Project March 21-22 at Mardi Gras World. Nas will also join the lineup and perform Illmatic in its entirety to celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary. Carnage, GRiZ, Clockwork, Classixx (LIVE), Treasure Fingers, and Young & Sick have also been added to the lineup.
This year, Buku also adds the S.S. Buku - a riverboat that will be docked on the festival grounds and serve as the festival’s VIP area. In addition to an open bar and view of the main stage, it will also host a series of exclusive performances including a collaboration between The Gaslamp Killer and a brass band from Preservation Hall, DJ sets by Holy Ghost!, Miami Horror, and DJ Soul Sister, and interactive fan experiences including twerking lessons with Big Freedia.
Weekend and VIP tickets are on sale now.
