Star (and Dagger) of the Silver Screen

In their new video, New Orleans' Star and Dagger quotes classic movies. 

Today, New Orleans' hard rock band Star and Dagger have released their first video, which references a number of cult classics. In the video for "Your Mama Was a Grifter," the band that includes Sean Yseult, Marci Von Hesseling, Donna She-Wolf, Dave Catching and Gene Trautman pay homage to Russ Meyer's Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, as well as The Night of the Hunter, Cleopatra and the Batman television show. The song is from their upcoming album, Tomorrowland Blues.

Star and Dagger will play a special mystery show October 11 in New York City (venue to be leaked closer to the show), October 13 in New York at the Mercury Lounge with The Chrome Cranks, and on October 26 at 3:45 p.m. at The Voodoo Experience.
