Harvest Colors

This year, Second Harvest's "Harvest the Music" concert series wants to see you in autumnal colors.

Harvest the Music plans to see orange during its 5th annual concert series, which starts Wednesday, September 19 in Lafayette Square. To help draw attention to hunger, the Superdome will be lit up in orange during the September 19 concert with The Iguanas and Los Po-Boy-Citos, and attendees are encouraged to wear orange to the show as a sign of hunger awareness. Proceeds from food and beverage sales at Harvest the Music go to the Second Harvest Food Bank, which fights hunger throughout South Louisiana.

Here's the lineup:

September 19: The Iguanas; Los Po-Boy-Citos

September 26: Dr. John and the Lower 911 featuring Jon Cleary; Natalie Mae and Johnny Sansone

October 3: Anders Osborne, Bonerama Horns and Dave Malone; Mia Borders

October 10: JJ Grey & Mofro; Colin Lake

October 17: North Mississippi All Stars, Alvin Youngblood Hart and Lightning Malcolm; Young Pinstripe Brass Band

October 24: Rebirth Brass Band; Mississippi Rail Company

All the shows are free and run from 5-7:30 p.m.
