The Los Angeles-based rock band plays The Civic Theatre Saturday night, and we have a pair of tickets to give away.

"You don't hand people your solutions; you hand people your struggles," singer Mikel Jollett of The Airborne Toxic Event says in a Spotify commentary on the band's album Such Hot Blood. In the band's songs, Joliett's struggles are the big ones--love, life, death--and the band scaled its sound up to match those themes on the album so that each song flirts with being anthemic.
