Silent Nights
With Christmas upon us, this is a quieter week in New Orleans nightlife. But it's not completely silent.
This time of the year, bands aren't touring and even local musicians would rather be home with their families. As such, we have a short Milk Run this week. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours from My Spilt Milk.
Friday: Home for the Holidays, 7 p.m., House of Blues: This yearly event is a star-studded fundraiser for the Daniel Price Foundation for Aspiring Artists. The bill is usually star-studded, this year including Rebirth Brass Band, Kermit Ruffins & Amanda Shaw, Chuck Perkins and Spy Boy Honey, Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs, Paul Sanchez, Eric Lindell, Jonathan Batiste, Stanton Moore Trio, Herlin Riley, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, James Andrews, and Rockin' Dopsie.
