YouTube views don't always equate to sales, but in the case of pop-rap duo MKTO, they do. The least-viewed of their videos has been seen more than a million times, and their hit--"Classic"--has been viewed more than 23 million times. The song has also sold more than a million copies, and it's easy to hear why. "Classic" evokes the clear, clean pop grooves of The Jackson 5--which they reference musically and lyrically--but with the sonic sheen of contemporary production. Its ambition is also pretty level-headed. "Classic" doesn't want to change your life; it just wants to be your summer jam.
