1. "After the Disco" - Broken Bells: Title track from the indie superduo's second album, released Feb. 4. The Shins' leading man James Mercer and stylishly slick producer Danger Mouse will stop at the Civic Theatre on March 12.
2. "Where's the Fun in Forever" - Miguel: The last two years have been big for the neo-soul crooner, and he's starting off 2014 with a tour stopping at the Howlin' Wolf on Saturday.
3. "ISIS" (feat. Haleek Maul and Bago) - Supreme Cuts: From the rap-fusion duo's new album Divine Ecstasy, released Jan. 29.
4. "Kill Cupid" - Sissy Nobby: Taken from the raspy-voiced bounce vet's late 2013 release.
5. "Another Sad Love Song" - Toni Braxton: Sissy Nobby's sexy source material has a bite of its own with a scorned vocal performance from Braxton.
6. "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" - P.M. Dawn: Prince Be has suffered two strokes, so now Doc G leads PM Dawn with Prince Be's blessing. He'll play a Valentine's Day show at the Howlin' Wolf.
7. "Life Round Here" (feat. Chance the Rapper) - James Blake: The unlikely duo recently moved in together after both enjoyed a banner 2013, teasing hopes for new tunes from the collab this year.
8. "That's Daddy Money" - Young Gabe: The local rapper will share the stage with Mystikal and Juvenile at the House of Blues on Tuesday.
9. "Heartbreaker" - The Walkmen: Is there an end in sight to the indie rockers recently announced hiatus? Maybe not, but the Walkmen are bringing its all-in live show to One Eyed Jacks Saturday, benifitting the Rock On Foundation. The band might be made up of literal dad rockers now, but don't expect to leave this show without a little bit of hearing damage.
10. "Old Forgotten Soldier" - The Walkmen: A cut from the Walkmen's cover album of Harry Nilsson and John Lennon's Pussycats..
11. "Babs and Bads" - Daryl Hall: From Hall's Robert Fripp-produced first solo effort, Sacred Songs.
12. "Digital Witness" - St. Vincent: The David Byrne influence in strong on this one from Annie Clark's fourth album as St. Vincent, following her and Byrne's Love This Giant collaboration. Her self-titled album is out Feb. 25.
13. "Evil Blooms" - Dum Dum Girls: A reliably dreamy tack from Dee Dee Penny and company's new album Too True, released last month.
14. "Defend yr Self" - Sebadoh: The veteran indie rockers take the Gasa Gasa stage Tuesday.
15. "Never Talk" - The Junior League: A brooding but catchy tune from the locals' summer 2013 release.
16. "The Man Who Lives Forever" - Lord Huron: The dreamy L.A. alt-folk outfit returns to town only a few months after playing an opening slot for Alt-J, this time with its own headlining show at the Civic Theatre on Saturday.
17. "I Truly Understand That You Love Another Man" - Carolina Chocolate Drops: The North Carolina act described as an "old-time string band" will play Valentine's Day night at Tipitina's.
18. "I'm on Fire" - Alexandra Scott: The New Orleans singer/songwriter takes on the Boss with this cover from her recent release, I Love You So Much Always.
19. "Old Forgotten Soldier" - Harry Nilsson: The original take from Nilsson's Pussy Cats.
