1. "Peace" - Anders Osborne: The title track from his new album.

2. "The Hurry and the Harm" - City and Colour: Canadian singer Dallas Green is City and Colour, and he'll play the House of Blues Monday night.

3. "Elephant" - Jason Isbell: A powerful song from his recent Southeastern album. He'll play the House of Blues Sunday

4. "Come Unto Me" - The Mavericks: It's hard to imagine that there was a show at Jazz Fest this year more good-natured fun than the one turned in by The Mavericks. They'll be back in town this week to play Tipitina's Tuesday and Wednesday.

5. "All Around the World" - James Booker: From the reissued Classified.

"Sparkle City" - Shuggie Otis: Shuggie Otis made a couple of great psychedelic funk album in the early '70s, then largely disappeared until Inspiration Information was reissued early this year with the unreleased Wings of Love, which prompted a tour that will bring Otis to the House of Blues Saturday night.

8. "Frisky" - Sly and the Family Stone: From the excellent box set, Higher!

9. "World Cycle Inc." - James Brown

10. "Summerdays" - The Poets of Rhythm: Recently Daptone Records released Anthology, a collection of funk by a German band from the '90s.

11. "Special" - Shuggie Otis: From the album of unreleased material, Wings of Love.

12. "Wallow in the Myrrh" - The Poets of Rhythm

13. "Wu-Tang Forever" - Drake: From his new Nothing Was the Same. Drake will play the New Orleans Arena November 9.

14. "Drag the Beast" - Cokiyu

15. "Cosmic Claps of Love" - Chrome Sparks: Chrome Sparks will play the Hi-Ho Lounge Sunday.

16. "I Dreamt About Silence" - cuushe: From the new album, Butterfly Case.

17. "Constant Conversations" - Passion Pit: Passion Pit will play the Civic Theatre Saturday.

18. "Teenage Disease" - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club: BRMC will play the Civic Monday, October 14

19. "Stoked and Broke" FIDLAR: FIDLAR plays One Eyed Jacks Monday night.

20. "Baraat to Nowhere" - Red Baraat: The Indian-influenced brass band will play Tipitina's Friday night
