They add to their diverse catalogue with their latest, alt-rock album, Specter at the Feast (tickets).

The 24th Annual New Orleans Film Festival kicked off Thursday night but continues well into next week, wrapping up on the 17th. The Spilt Milk crew looks forward to seeing the documentaries A Warehouse on Tchoupitoulas, which examines the history of the celebrated venue, and Bayou Maharajah: The Tragic Genius of James Booker.
The 10th Annual Voice of the Wetlands Festival takes place on the Southdown Museum Grounds in Houma, Louisiana, October 11-13. The festival, which celebrates bayou culture and works to spread Louisiana Wetlands awareness, offers a great selection of Cajun food, dancing, exhibitions and a number of live acts, including Anders Osborne, Josh Garrett, Dash Rip Rock, and Mia Borders.
