Win Tickets to the Preservation Hall Ball

We have a pair to give away to see The Preservation Hall Jazz Band with special guests Saturday night at the Civic.

Saturday night, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band and special guests will play The Preservation Hall Ball at the Civic Theatre. The Hall band will be joined by Meshell Ndegeocello, Corey Glover, GRiZ, Greg Dulli, Dave Rosser, Rick G. Nelson of The Afghan Whigs featuring Bailey Smith of Morning 40 Federation, Ivan Neville, Original Pinettes Brass Band, Deacon John Moore and Arc Iris.

The show is a benefit for The Preservation Hall Foundation, and the show will honor the late Waldren "Frog" Joseph and his family, and present the first-ever 'Harold Dejan Achievement in New Orleans Brass Band Music Award'.

There will be a second Preservation Hall Ball in San Francisco November 6 at the Fillmore, but we have a pair of tickets to give away to the show in New Orleans Saturday night. Register here for a chance to win. The contest closes Friday at noon.
