Former boy band members Nick Carter and Jordan Knight are now men and have been for a while, and we're giving away a pair of tickets to see them at the Civic Tuesday, November 4.

Thanks to the Internet, nothing will go away, and there’s a community for every taste. Boy bands were once the object of mockery for anyone over 18, but their heyday came in the mid-‘90s and the 15 year-olds who loved them then are around 30 now. Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys and Jordan Knight of New Kids of the Block (even older!) toured together first as part of NKOTBSB, and they’ve recorded an album, Nick & Knight that has for the most part received gently favorable reviews.

So has their tour, which comes to the Civic Theatre Tuesday. Concert LiveWire wrote:

Knight is hands down the vocal treasure of the troupe, nailing so many falsettos it was hard to keep count, and while Carter isn't nearly as gifted behind the mic, his charisma is undeniable. Together they made the ladies go absolutely wild, grooving through the funky new "Just The Two Of Us," unplugging for NKOTB's "If You Go Away" and BSB's "I Want It That Way" (with Knight nestled behind the keys and Carter on acoustic guitar), plus a medley of '90s hip-hop covers stocked with Naughty By Nature, Will Smith and TLC (to name a few).

We have a pair of tickets to give away to see the Nick & Knight show. Register here for a chance to win. Contest closes Monday at noon.
