We Bring Boats to New Orleans

"Never ever ever change your font size / Never ever become a vengeful ghost," Mat Klachefsky sings on Boats' new album, A Fairway Full of Miners (Kill Rock Stars), and it's typical of the playful attitude he and the Winnipeg-based band bring to pop and rock 'n' roll. They'll pass through New Orleans after SXSW, and will play the Circle Bar with Montreal's Patrick Krief, formerly of The Dears.
