Voodoo: Where We'll Be Saturday
20140613hdmonkeys01mag-1.jpg

Our highlights for Saturday at The Voodoo Music Experience.

Certain things are reliable at The Voodoo Music Experience; one is a front coming through followed by a precipitous temperature drop. Friday was beautiful with clear blue skies until the front came through with a bluster--not so good for all the scantiliy costumed festgoers; great for hoodie sales.

Today will be cool but still, and there's a lot worth breaking out a coat for today. Tonight will tell us how much of a travel destination Voodoo is since headliners Arctic Monkeys played The Varsity in Baton Rouge last year. They headlined at Lollapalooza as well this year, so while they might seem locally like a reach, nationally they clearly aren't.
