The spring dance and hip-hop festival at Mardi Gras World finishes its staggered release of its lineup with some of the most talked about names in rap last year.

The Buku Music and Art Project rounded out its lineup yesterday with the addition of Lil Uzi Vert, Illenium, Noname and another handful of names. The festival takes place March 9-10 at Mardi Gras World, and this year it rolled out its lineup in three phases. Late last year, Bassnectar, Migos, MGMT and SZA were among the dance and hip-hop artists already announced.

Yesterday, Buku added Snails, Ski Mask The Slump God, Homeshake, Walker & Royce, a B2B set from New Orleans DJs Nice Rack and Rusty Lazer, and exclusive VIP performances, hosted by Brownies & Lemonade and Space Yacht, featuring DROELOE, Melvv, Suicideyear, and a B2B set from electronic artists Eprom and Mad Zach. There will also be a showcase curated by the local artist collective Pink Room Project.

Weekend passes for Buku are on sale now. The entire lineup is online now at TheBukuProject.com.

Last year, we reviewed Lil Uzi Vert’s show at Republic NOLA and Noname's show at Tipitina's. We also announced the first and second waves of Buku artists, complete with videos to preview some of the highlights.
