The Gentilly and Acura Stages have some time changes today and tomorrow; and how you can enjoy the weekend even if you can't be there.

Friday's Jazz Fest schedule underwent some major changes as early sets were compressed because of the noon start time. Today and tomorrow's start times on the Acura Stage were made earlier in the week, well before the Fair Grounds became a mud pit. The Gentilly Stage also has Sunday changes. Here are the new times:

Today

SUBR Jazzy Jags: 11-11:45 a.m.
JD & the Straight Shot: 12:05-12:55 p.m.
Cowboy Mouth: 1:15-2:05 p.m.
Little Big Town: 2:40-3:55 p.m.
Fleetwood Mac: 4:40-7 p.m.

It looks like the sets were adjusted to give an extra half-hour to Fleetwood Mac.

Sunday

Acura Stage
Otra: 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m.
Brass-a-Holics: 12:25-1:15 p.m.
The Meter Men: 1:45-2:55 p.m.
The Black Keys: 3:40 p.m.
Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue: 5:35-7 p.m.

The Black Keys' set is slightly shortened and Shorty's is 10 minutes longer.

Gentilly Stage
Creole String Beans: 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
New Orleans Classic R&B Revue: 12:25-1:40 p.m.
Irma Thomas: 2-3:05 p.m.
Daryl Hall and John Oates: 3:45-5:15 p.m.
Aaron Neville: 5:45-7 p.m.

Aaron Neville's set is lengthened by 15 minutes, but the time is made up in the set changes, not at the expense of other artists' sets. Current schedules with all the time changes can be downloaded and printed at the Jazz Fest site.

In other Jazz Fest news, if you can't be there, you can hear it and see it live. Direct TV subscribers who have AXS TV can see coverage live from the Fair Grounds as well as concerts from both weekends. The broadcast runs from 2 p.m. until 12:20 a.m. Central Time each day, and today's featured artists include (in order of appearance) Little Big Town, Galactic, Phoenix, Anders Osborne, Gary Clark Jr., Allen Toussaint, Better Than Ezra, Bonerama, Cowboy Mouth, Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, New Orleans Bingo! Show, Dave Matthews Band, and Billy Joel.

Sunday's coverage presents shows by Irma Thomas, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Meter Men, Widespread Panic, Aaron Neville, Wayne Toups & Zydecajun, and Daryl Hall & John Oates.

There will also be bonus coverage at axs.tv.
