The upbeat Los Angeles-based alternative rock band plays The Parish Sunday and we have tickets to give away.

When The Mowgli's played the Austin City Limits Festival last year, Ramon Ramirez wrote:

The sunshine smile rockers are an eight-deep collective of roving salesman. They preach peace-loving values and travel with decorative dogs. It's Prius rock with unlimited endorsement upside – because, reluctantly, the journeyman crew has the songwriting goods.

The Mowgli's play The House of Blues' Parish on Sunday night with Misterwives opening, and their collective, enthusiastic folk rock has a great vibe, but they don't rely on it. Their most recent album, Waiting for the Dawn, includes the infectious "San Francisco."

We have a pair of tickets to give away to see The Mowgli's at the Parish. Register here for a chance to win. The contest ends at noon on Saturday.
