Voodoo Preview: Free Maxim's Nasty Girl

Maxim, one of the founding members of UK electronic dance music pioneers The Prodigy, has released a free new track in time for The Voodoo Music Experience, which starts Friday, November 1. Maxim will do a DJ set at Voodoo Sunday at 4:30 p.m., and his "Nasty Girl" is typically high energy, sonically hard track.

The Voodoo Lineup Day by Day

Now we know. Pearl Jam and Calvin Harris will headline the opening night of The Voodoo Experience, which for the first time will take place on City Park's Festival Grounds. Nine Inch Nails and Afrojack top the bill Saturday, and The Cure and Bassnectar will close out the festival on Sunday night.

Through Valentine's Day, The Voodoo Experience has weekend passes, Loa Lounge weekend passes and weekend camping passes back on sale. For the next nine days, three-day credentials will be on sale for $150, and three-day Loa Lounge credentials will be $400. Camping will return this year, and four nights of camping for two people is on sale now for $50, while Loa Grand VIP Camping can be purchased for $2,500, which includes Artist Credentials among other bonuses.

Voodoo for Christmas

It seems like we just finished with The Voodoo Experience, but it's back in the news. Today it has put a limited number of tickets on sale today for Voodoo 2013 at severely discounted prices. Next year, the festival will take place November 1-3, and three-day credentials currently cost $99, slightly more than the cost of a single day at the gate this year. LOA VIP credentials cost $300, $350 with parking. Camping for two with weekend credentials are on sale now for $248, and LOA camping is available for $2,500.
